There are those who were fortunate enough to go to a conservatory and learn the ropes of "what it means and takes to be a playwright" from the world's greatest theatre professionals. Then, there's the rest of us...lol. The good thing about theatre is that the pen is the great equalizer. And the world's best stories haven't yet been tapped into. 

Reading Con is an event for people who write because they love it! They write because there are characters living in their minds and hearts whose stories are burning holes inside. There are yet others that sorta, kinda just want to see if they're any good at this writing thing. There's a seat at the table for all.
