The Shoulders we stand on...

BOOT CAMP. Our musical theatre boot camp is designed to empower children with the skills and knowledge they need to shine on stage. Whether they're aspiring performers or just looking to explore the arts, our comprehensive program offers rigorous training in a supportive and fun environment.

Children will learn from industry leaders and experienced professionals, engaging in hands-on, project-based learning that covers acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. They will collaborate on exciting projects with peers, building a network of like-minded friends and fostering a strong sense of community.

We are a performing arts group and ACTION! is the umbrella for all of our visual, film and theatrical outlets. We have an ongoing theatre season that includes plays written by Founder and Creative Director, Nicole C. Morgan., and other Black playwrights that we are in community with. 

Recently, we have expanded our offerings to include films and web series written by Nicole and/or other members of the Honestly team. 

In addition to formal performances, ACTION! also includes our impromptu community involvement projects and all outreach. 

Headed by jazz enthusiast, educator, mentor and so much more, Lisa Weems, ONE NOTE is the musical arm of Honestly Speaking, Inc. Under Lisa's watchful eye, ONE NOTE established a quarterly Jazz series called the Black Composer's Forum -  a performance and educational endeavor dedicated to celebrating Black Jazz Composers.  Its popularity and community support have enabled us to expand our programming to other cities, as well as the addition of a summer intensive for young composer training in Summer 2021.
