Acting up! is Back!!!

Acting Up! is an immersive musical theatre bootcamp produced by Honestly Speaking, Inc. that centers accessibility, creativity, and community. Students work with Deaf and hearing theatre professionals while training in acting, movement, storytelling, ASL performance, music, and production.

Our all-access model ensures Deaf and hearing students can learn and create together in one shared artistic space.

Programming is designed in both American Sign Language and spoken English from the ground up.

Students work directly with theatre artists, directors, choreographers, interpreters, and performers.

Campers build toward a final showcase experience while learning collaboration and stage skills.

Field trips, workshops, guest artists, and behind-the-scenes training introduce students to careers in the arts.

Students are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and develop leadership skills.
