Acting Up! Afterschool is a creative arts enrichment program produced by Honestly Speaking, Inc. that centers accessibility, creativity, and community. Through school partnerships, we bring acting, movement, storytelling, and leadership development to students of diverse backgrounds, languages, and abilities, guided by Deaf and hearing teaching artists.
ASL is central to our program, shaping how students communicate, express themselves, and create. Each school’s experience is tailored to its students, building confidence, collaboration, and connection through the arts.

Afterschool gives students a place to express themselves, build friendships, and discover their strengths through theatre and ASL. Guided by Deaf and hearing teaching artists, students practice communication, collaboration, and leadership while exploring new ways to tell their stories.
